Cast in sterling silver using the lost-wax process, this ring cradles an Australian boulder opal that glows with shifting blues and greens, like light surfacing from deep water. The silver band rises in uneven, organic forms, its clawed setting appearing grown rather than constructed—raw, molten, and deliberate. Dark recesses in the metal contrast with the opal’s living color, giving the piece a sense of tension between weight and radiance, earth and depth.
